Dr. Agarwal received his medical degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia, P.A. From there he completed his residency at the Cedars-Sinai-VA Internal Medicine program in Los Angeles. Since graduating from residency, Dr. Agarwal has been actively involved at CORE in several research projects. His interests include measuring health-related quality of life in patients with irritable bowel syndrome, improving bowel preparations for colonoscopy, understanding the processes and outcomes of care in colonic diverticulitis and other health services research projects aimed at improving quality of life and cost-effectiveness of care. Dr. Agarwal is currently in fellowship in Gastroenterology at UCLA.
