Hank Wang, MD
Originally from Northern California, Dr. Wang has lived in Los Angeles for nearly ten years both for his wife, a Southern California native, and for the excellent training and research opportunities available at CORE. Dr. Wang graduated from Stanford University with honors in Biology and in History and received his medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He completed an internship and residency at the Center for Health Sciences at UCLA and is currently a research Fellow in the Division of Digestive Diseases. He was recently awarded a T32 NIH GI Training Grant and plans to obtain a Masters in Health Services Research from the UCLA School of Public Health over the next few years. His research interests include identifying patient level, endoscopist level and facility level predictors of colorectal adenomas, advanced adenomas and cancer. He hopes eventually to return to Northern California to continue clinical research in a VA setting.
