Christopher Almario, MD
Dr. Almario is a research fellow in the UCLA Digestive Disease Fellowship Program. He is originally from San Diego, CA. He earned a B.S. in Bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley. Afterwards, he moved to Philadelphia, PA, and earned his M.D. at Jefferson Medical College and then completed his Internal Medicine training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
His research interests include health services research, clinical informatics, and developing technologies to improve health care delivery. He was recently awarded an NIH T32 GI Training Grant and will be pursuing a M.S. in Health Policy and Management at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health.
